Neeraj Pathak’s recent release ‘Right Yaaa Wrong’ had been Sunny Deol’s comeback vehicle. However, much before this film, the filmmaker had another project which is still there on the shelf, waiting to see the light.

Titled ‘The Man’, the film features an interesting pair with Sunny Deol and Shilpa Shetty in lead. The film said to have been in the making for over three years. Reported to be a remake of ‘The Body Guard’, the film is co-directed by Deol and Pathak.

So much the project is getting stretched, that Shilpa is alleged to have lost interest in it and planning to drop the film.

According to sources, during the initial days of Karan Johar’s ‘Dostana’ Sunny had apprehensions about Shilpa doing an item song in KJo’s film. The actor had requested Johar to postpone Dostana’s release. ‘Dostana’ is done and gone, but ‘The Man’ didn’t make it screens. Much later, when Shilpa had made up her mind to get married, it was rumoured that Deol had asked her to postpone the plan for their movie’s sake. While the actress is happily settled in her married life now, ‘The Man’ is still waiting for its release.

Ask Shilpa about these, the diva instantly pooh-poohed them calling them pure hogwash. As none of the concerned person approached her, Shilpa had felt that the film is not happening. “I am very professional and I will always complete all my films. It's true that am busy with the IPL but I have worked out my diary in such a way that though IPL is my priority I can accommodate my other commitments,” stated the actress.

Hmm, we wish ‘The Man’ makes an appearance on the screens soon.
